Jimmy Law is best known for his powerful portrait in which he uses sharp contrasts and bold compositions After several years as a graphic designer and illustrator Jimmy dedicated himself to full-time painting.

In 2008 Jimmy Law radically changed his approach and left behind his photorealistic style to develop what has become his signature with large brush strokes. The main element in Jimmy Law paintings lies in the look of his character, both strong and soft at the same time. Jimmy Law creates elaborate expressive paintings from which it is difficult to take one’s eyes off! An adept in matters of light & depth, Jimmy applies abstract brush strokes to create hyper-realistic veracity.
