Andrew Talbot

Andrew Talbot Andrew painted his first oil painting some 20 years ago when he was just 15. He can still recall that first smell of the linseed oil and distilled turpentine as I worked into the night to finish my first ever oil in time for the art exam deadline. "I caught the bug and I was determined that one day I would make art my vocation". Encouraged by his art teacher at school he applied to Art College. He then went on to complete a degree in Fine Art at Loughborough Art College. In 2001 he was fortunate enough to be able to be accepted in one of the countries leading representational art galleries. The demand for his panting took him by surprise following his first one man show in 2005 which was a complete sell-out.. This gave him the confidence to commit fully to what he had always dreamt of, which was to paint for a living.
He has been painting professionally now since 2002 and considers it a real joy and privilege to make a living out of something he really loves to do.
